2/19/2014 Today I took the quiz that I missed and we went over it in class. I feel like I did pretty well, but I missed some of the really easy ones. On another note I am wondering if Vlogging or Video-blogging might occasionally be accepted as my form of Blogging. I find it easier, faster and personally find it more useful and enjoyable.

2/17/2014 Today I was not in school. I also missed the blogs for Wednesday and Friday of last week. On Wednesday I came home and fell asleep before 7:30 and my alarm didn't wake me back up. I lost access to the internet and only got it back today so I wasn't able to do the Friday blog. Also my computer in general is having problems with the internet and other functions making it hard, at best, to check the website and do homework. I will be back in school tomorrow and intend to make up the quiz i missed yesterday and any other work I can.

159. If a man, who has presented a gift to the house of his prospective father-in-law and has given the bride-price, has afterward looked upon another woman and has said to his father-in-law, "I will not marry your daughter"; the father of the girl shall keep whatever he has brought as a present.
I think this one is very fair. It makes a lot of sense. It seems similar to a down payment.
195. If a son has struck his father, his hands shall be cut off.
I'm a bit mixed on this one. I like the enforcement of obeying your parents but I feel like it is a bit overdone.
200. If a patrician has knocked out the tooth of a man that is his equal, his tooth shall be knocked out.
This one shows that the main purpose of these laws is to provide a punishment for the sake of equality.

Today was the first day of this class. We went over the rules of blogging. For the most part I think this is a good idea but I might have some problems with them on the weekends. Usually, once a month and I leave on Friday to go camping before I can start my homework. I end up doing it on Sundays. When I am camping I am not allowed to bring any electronics so this might become a problem.
